Mind-blowing stay! Lovely clean room, amazing location near cool restaurants. Super hot water and after-hours check-in. Jaw-dropping honesty bar. Helpful, kind staff; cosy garden room. Great value, good balance of privacy. Great variety in mini bar, but more non-alcoholic drinks would be nice. Amazing views of Table Mountain. 20/10!

Great location with easy access to downtown, restaurants, and bars. The view of Table Mountain from the room was a bonus. The staff was accommodating and allowed early check-in. The room was clean and the WiFi worked.
No hot water for shower on the second morning. Prices were a little high for what was offered, possibly due to the time of year.

Very friendly owners and good sized room with view to table mountain.Nice location, close enough to walk to the cafes and restaurants on Kloof Street.
Breakfast was not at the hotel, but a voucher was given for a cafe down the road, which was fine. However, voucher was for cooked breakfast only, it would be great to have some choice.

Friendly staff and exceptional service were the highlight of my business trip stay. The attention to detail was remarkable, showing that the staff truly care about their guests. The location was convenient and close to key attractions, making it easy to explore the city during down time. The delightful garden offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and a perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea. a great stay and highly recommended.
The hotel is located adjacent to a busy road, resulting in some noise disturbance during the day. However, this is a small price to pay for the convenience of staying in such a prime location.

The Lions Guest House offered exceptional value for money. The room had all the necessary amenities, including good Wi-Fi and plenty of electrical plugs. The location was great, with easy access to popular areas like Long Street and the nearest red bus stop. The hotel's delightful garden and its proximity to Table Mountain provided a lovely view.
Navigating through the various locks and tricky gates was a minor inconvenience, but it added to the overall feeling of safety and security.

We appreciated the free Wi-Fi in our room and the proximity to local attractions. the view of the mountains from the outdoor seating area was also a nice touch.
Although the room was clean, it lacked basic amenities like air conditioning and comfortable bedding. We had trouble sleeping on the hard mattress and had to rely on a noisy fan to keep the room cool.

The Lions Guest House exceeded my expectations in every way. the value for money is simply outstanding. From the affordable prices to the attention to detail, this hotel offers excellent value for the experience it provides. The location in a safe area, close to vibrant attractions like Bo-kaap and cozy cafes, made exploring the city a breeze. The friendly staff, with their warm and welcoming nature, truly went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The rooms, adorned in beautiful African style, were clean and cozy, with the added bonus of a large mattress offering a restful night's sleep. I was also blown away by the exceptional view of Table Mountain from my room, a truly remarkable sight. Lastly, the breakfast spread, featuring a generous serving of fresh fruit, was excellent and a delightful way to start the day.
All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

This place has a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. You can easily access the famous Table Mountain and Lion's Head and enjoy beautiful views from the garden. the rooms are well decorated and equipped with necessary facilities for your comfort. They offer a nice range of breakfast items which are delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a shared kitchen and give shelf space in fridge.
Parking can be a major challenge as there is limited space available.
